A Siberian tiger lies in the snow inside a small round dome on this necklace, its orange coat glowing against a pale winter scene of white ground and grey trees. The picture hangs inside the curve of a crescent moon, cut through with lacy openwork swirls, and both swing together from a single bail.

The round picture and the crescent are separate pieces, so the tiger can move gently inside the curve of the moon. The Siberian tiger, also called the Amur tiger, lives in the snowy forests of the Russian Far East, and the winter landscape in the medallion recalls its home. The pendant is made of tin alloy in a silver tone. The pendant measures 3.7x3cm. It comes on a 45cm chain with a lobster clasp.
