Snow Tiger Baby Mat

A young tiger cub walks across fresh snow on this small mat, one front paw stretched forward and its head lowered as it picks its way along. Its coat is a warm golden orange crossed with dark stripes, bright against the white ground, where bare twigs and dry grass stalks poke through the snow. A strip of brown earth runs along the top edge of the scene.

A cub in the snow

The baby in the name is the cub itself, still small and fluffy, with oversized paws it has not yet grown into. The snowy setting recalls the Amur tiger, also known as the Siberian tiger, which lives in the cold forests of the Russian Far East and wears a thicker coat through the long winter. The photographic print keeps the striped fur and the twigs in the snow sharp. It sits well at a front door, beside a bed or in a bathroom, and it brings a quiet touch of wildlife to a small space. Larger rugs and other designs fill our tiger rug collection.
