A black barrel bead sits at the front of this bracelet, wrapped in a gold band engraved with script characters and small swastika symbols, and framed by two dark metallic spacer rings. Opposite it, a single round black bead carries more gold script, and round polished beads fill the rest of the strand.

Long before the 20th century, the swastika was a sacred sign in Hindu, Buddhist and Jain traditions, where it stands for good fortune and the eternal cycle of time.
