A roaring tiger head rises from the buckle of this belt, cast in relief with its jaws open on long fangs, its brow furrowed and its ears pricked. It sits in a round medallion edged with a Greek key border, and on each side of the medallion a scaled, serpent-like body curls up the frame and ends in a flourish of flame-shaped tips.
A sculpted buckle in antique bronze tones
The buckle is a rectangle with rounded corners, finished in a warm, aged bronze and gold tone with darker recesses that bring out the relief of the fur and the scales. It is set on a black strap embossed with a crocodile-style pattern of raised scales, and stitching runs along both edges of the leather. Leather, sizes and dimensions
The strap is made of buffalo leather and finished with saddle stitching. It measures 3.8cm wide. The buckle measures 5 x 4cm, width by height. Four lengths are offered: 43.3, 45.3, 47.2 and 49.2 inches, which is 110, 115, 120 and 125cm.
