Tiger Face Butterfly Temporary Tattoo

Washes of violet, blue and pink color the pale face of a tiger in this design, with light blue eyes, a pink nose and black stripes laid down in bold brush marks. Below its chin spreads a butterfly whose wings shift from orange and pink to blue and green, and small dots of paint are scattered around both.

A tiger and a butterfly in watercolor

The pairing sets strength against lightness, the large cat above and the fragile insect below, both painted in the same rainbow palette so they read as a single image. Soft edges and splashes copy the look of a watercolor tattoo. In tattoo symbolism, the butterfly often stands for change and the tiger for courage, and our article on the meaning of a tiger tattoo explores the second.
