A tiger mother and her cub share the frame of this round pendant. The adult fills the right side, eyes half closed and head turned slightly, while the striped cub peers out beside her shoulder with wide, alert eyes. A clear dome over the picture lifts the image and catches the light.

Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years, learning to hunt at her side before they leave to find a territory of their own, and this picture shows that bond in close-up. The round setting has a simple raised rim and a smooth bail that holds the chain, so the photograph stays at the center of the design.
