Ancestral Tiger Necklace

Fangs bared and nose wrinkled into a snarl, the tiger on this pendant is caught in mid roar. The head is modeled in full relief, with narrowed eyes under a heavy brow, ears pricked forward and fur carved in deep, flowing strands down the cheeks. A large round ring at the top carries it on a sturdy box chain.

An antique finish on a roaring head

The recesses of the fur, the eyes and the open mouth are darkened, while the raised parts are polished bright, so every strand and every tooth stands out. That aged contrast gives the piece its rugged, almost tribal look, and it reads clearly even when worn over a T-shirt. It comes in a warm gold tone and a cool silver tone.
