Tiger Necklace from the Tomb

The jaws of this tiger hang wide open, and the space between its fangs is cut right through the pendant, so light shows through the roaring mouth. Above it, round staring eyes, a broad nose and bold curved stripes give the head a strong, old-fashioned character, like a carving from an ancient tomb. A small loop at the top holds it on a simple link chain.

Both finishes are antiqued, with darker hollows around the eyes and stripes and lighter raised edges. The bronze version has a warm, olive brown patina; the silver version is brighter, with gray shadows in the details. The deep stripes wrap around the sides of the head, so the pendant looks full and rounded rather than flat. Materials and size

The pendant is made of zinc alloy and measures 31x24mm. The chain comes in two lengths, 45cm or 70cm, and the colors are Bronze and Silver.
