Colorful Tiger Painting

A pale, almost white tiger looks out through a storm of color on this canvas. Its face and chest are drawn in loose strokes of blue and violet, flecked with dots of ink, while washes of turquoise, lilac and rose pink run and drip around it as if the paint were still wet. The body fades into streaks of color that stretch toward the edges of the picture.

The image is split into five separate canvases of stepped heights, the tallest in the middle and the shortest at each end, so the tiger's head sits near the center and the splashes spread out to either side. The palette stays cool, with blue and purple leading and a few warmer touches of pink and coral, and much of the background is left pale, which keeps the whole piece light on a wall. Sizes, frame and canvas

Three sizes are offered, Medium, Large and XL, and the canvas size chart gives the measurements of each. Every size comes as the canvas only, under No Frame, or Framed, with the canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The print is made on a cotton and linen canvas with a reflection-free finish, and it is light enough to hang from a single nail.
