Wild Roar Tiger Painting

A tiger's head roars straight out of this canvas, jaws thrown wide open to show four fangs, a pink tongue and a dark throat. Its amber eyes narrow under a furrowed brow, the nose wrinkles, and bold black stripes and outlines frame the orange and white fur of the face.

A tattoo-style illustration on aged paper

The head is drawn rather than photographed, with crisp black linework and flat areas of color in the manner of a classic tattoo design. It sits alone at the center of a mottled background in shades of tan, caramel and dark brown, darker at the corners like old parchment, so the orange of the coat and the red of the open mouth stand out. The composition is a single landscape canvas, and the face looks straight at the room from wherever it hangs. Painted, printed and drawn tigers of every style are gathered in our tiger canvas collection, and our list of the top 10 tiger paintings looks at famous works on the same subject.

Sizes and canvas

Five sizes are offered: 20x30cm, 30x45cm, 40x60cm, 50x80cm and 70x110cm. The painting is sold as the canvas alone, without a frame, and the canvas size chart lists each format. The image is printed in HD directly onto a cotton and linen canvas with a non-reflective finish, light enough to hang from one nail.
