The tiger on these earrings is drawn by its gaps. Each one is a flat piece of polished metal shaped like a tiger's head and chest, and the stripes, the eyes, the nose and the mouth are cut right through it, so the face appears in openwork with the skin or the hair showing behind it.
A calm face in openwork
Unlike a roaring design, this tiger looks straight ahead with a quiet, steady gaze, its ears rounded and its chest crossed by bold chevron stripes. Fine dotted lines mark the whisker pads, one of the few engraved details on the flat surface. The shape is clean and graphic, light enough for every day. It comes in a soft gold tone and a bright silver tone, and each earring hangs from a fish hook ear wire with a small coil.
