A roaring tiger head hangs from each of these small hoops, its jaws open on a row of fangs and its ears pricked forward. The fur is carved in short ridges around the cheeks and across the forehead, with a darker finish in the hollows that makes the stripes and the deep-set eyes stand out. The heads are rounded and full rather than flat, so they look like tiny sculptures.
A small hoop with a fierce charm
Each thin hoop closes with a hinged clasp, and the tiger head swings freely from a little ring at its base, moving with every turn of the head. The pair comes in a gold color, with a warm antique tone in the recesses, or in silver color with a darker oxidized look.
