Silver Tiger Necklace Finesse

A tiger head is cut from flat silver in clean, open lines on this pendant: two pointed ears, a striped brow, narrowed eyes and a broad muzzle, with the spaces between them left empty so the skin or the fabric shows through. It hangs from a fine cable chain, and a small clear stone in a round bezel dangles from a ring higher up the chain.

A delicate openwork tiger

The design reads like a paper cutout, more graphic than lifelike, which keeps the pendant light and discreet at the base of the neck. The polished surfaces catch the light along each line, and the little clear stone adds a second spark off to one side.
