White Tiger Phone Case

Printed in black and white against a deep black background, the tiger on this phone case lies with its body low and its head raised in a snarl. Its lips are pulled back over the fangs, its eyes are narrowed and pale, and its whiskers fan out in fine white lines across the dark.

A snarling portrait in monochrome

Without color, the picture comes down to contrast: bright white fur on the cheeks and brow, black stripes running across the face and down the shoulder, and shadows that swallow the rest of the body. The light falls from the front, so the face stands out sharply while the background stays completely black. The case is named for the white tiger, and the grayscale print gives this one a pale, silvery coat of its own. Our article on the most beautiful tigers in the world presents the white tiger alongside other remarkable tigers.
