Zodiac Tiger Pendant

At the heart of this round pendant, a tiger strides across an orange medallion framed by a Greek key border. Around it, a ring of red, blue and green tiles lists the Years of the Tiger from 1902 to 2034, and an outer ring of small round icons shows symbols of the Chinese elements, such as fire, water, wood and metal.

A pendant for the Year of the Tiger

The tiger is the third of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, and by tradition people born in its years are said to be brave and confident. Each date on the dial is a Year of the Tiger, twelve years apart, from 1902 through 2022 and on to 2034, so a birth year can be found at a glance. Size and materials

The pendant measures 2.5cm across. The artwork sits under a glossy domed cover in a zinc alloy setting with a dark gunmetal finish, and it hangs from a link chain in the same dark tone.
